Hanoi Securities Trading Centre (HASTC) now opens its doors at 8.30, 30 minutes earlier than previously, as of Nov. 19.
Accordingly, transactions will be carried out at HASTC from 8.30-11.00 from Monday to Friday except public holidays.
The time extension will allow a larger transaction volume and improve the liquidity of shares, said HASTC’s Director Tran Van Dung.
The opening times of HASTC and Ho Chi Minh City Stock Exchange are now aligned. The move was aimed at minimising the influence of one market on another.
